A couple new staff / faculty babies have joined the broader SA community this year!

Kim Eber, Director of Advancement, and her husband Forest welcomed a son named Finley Smith Eber on February 20. According to Eber, “Finley is a name we have always loved, and the name of one of my favorite golf courses. Smith is my maiden name and a little shout out to my dad who passed away last year.”

Finley weighed in at 7lbs, 8oz when he was born, and has been sleeping and eating “like a champ,” said his mom.  Kim’s 3-year-old daughter is “for the most part” happy with the new addition to the family.

Humanities Teacher Christina Azahar and her husband, Carlos, also welcomed a baby boy. Nicolás Santiago Folgar (Nico) arrived on Wednesday, February 23rd at 8 pounds. Azahar describes him as a “chunky love bug with a big appetite and little interest in sleep.”

We can’t wait to meet Finley and Nico soon!
